Route du Rhum 2010

This classic race has been held every 4 years since 1978. From Saint-Malo in France to Pointe-à-Pitre Guadalupe: 3,550 miles solo in the middle of November. The race will have 5 classes, including Open 60s and ORMA multihulls but the race committee has reserved the highest number of places for Class 40s now establishing itself as the most exciting class to be in. 

Global Ocean Race 2011-2012

30,000 miles around the Globe

The course for The Global Ocean Race 2011-12 takes in some of the roughest waters on the planet. Starting in Europe the race stops in Cape Town, South Africa; Wellington New Zealand; Ilhabela, Brazil and Charleston, USA before finishing back in Europe, a total of approximately 30,000 nautical miles.
