Class40: UniCredit sea trials photos
Yesterday we went out for the first time with the new mainsail which had arrived on friday from Italy from Roberto Westermann's loft, Di-Tech Sailmakers. The new sail, built for my Route du Rhum, is considerably lighter and responds really nicely to trimming, really pleased so far.
The graphics also came out real nice, the sail is very lightly spray painted white before the logos are applied, the paint is really really thin so as not to add unecessary weight, but in the photos it achieves the goal of not showing the other side's logos and giving a nice white background, you can see the bottom reef and the square top left unpainted and showing the sail construction.
